Charlie Was Accepted by Princeton University!

This post was written 1.5 years ago – I didn’t publish it as Charlie asked me to not broadcast the news since some of his best friends were still anxiously waiting for acceptance news or did not get in early action. I held the post off and later forgot I even wrote this post (Now that I’m writing about the exciting upcoming RMF event, I’m publishing this one too just in case you wonder where Charlie is now):

Charlie applied to Princeton University’s Early Action (single-choice, meaning you cannot apply to another private school’s Early Action), and we just received notification yesterday (Dec. 13) that he was accepted! It’s a great news that he’d be around here locally. Hopefully he finds time to give more concerts in the area despite busy college life!

BTW, Charlie was recently named one of the thirty one 2018 piano winners for the National YoungArts Foundation competition! We almost forgot about the competition and rushed in an application with videos recorded when he was 16, glad it worked out!
